Hi Nichola!
You can use your Aranet4 device in an airplane and it will be taking measurements for the time in there. You can turn OFF the bluetooth either fromy our phone or from the Aranet4 device by toggling the 3rd switch down (located on the backside, where the batteries are placed) but be aware you do not need to disable the Bluetooth connection while you are on the airplane. When you use the Airplane mode of your device, check if the Bluetooth remains ON.

If you observe Carbon Dioxide to go beyond 3.000 ppm, just open the window for some fresh air.

Where is the best location to put the device whike I'm flying? Ie if I put it in the pocket in front of me, will the airflow for the device be restricted and result in inaccurate readings? Thanks.

The best location would be somewhere where the device is not obstructed from the back and sides. So the pocke should be fine, although the responsiveness might be slower.
