Hello all,
I have two aranet4 with screen. Both have overnight became: device out reach.
I manage them from my phone. 18 months in use, measurements taken in many places. Been at home last month. Devices continue showing all info as desired.
Help needed. Has anyone lost their devices over night?
I have tried, in order of trying:
-Restart app
-Restart phone
-Restart Bluetooth phone, the devices pop up as nearby Bluetooth devices.
-Tried Bluetooth with other devices connected to phone. Headphones worked.
- remove battery from a device, three times. No change, device remains out of reach.
- remove device from app. Then I tried to re pair, the device was found, but then app reported it could no longer find device. See message below, Device was next to phone. App can no longer find device after this attempt.
- Uninstall and reinstall app. App does not find device next to it. Tried again, after reandrt Bluetooth and then again after device restart. No luck.
- tried to pair with second device, message :"Failed to read from device. Please ensure device pairing information is correct, device is in range and no else is using it."
None of above points are valid. Fwiw, no pairing number came on screen of device on both occasions while trying to pair.. No one else has paired with devices.
Help!
Regards
Alex

Hello Alex,
Today I encounter the same symptoms and have tried all the thing you reported with the same results.
It seems that one manipulation was more successfull with removing from the app the device , It took long time and then removed the batteries for 2 min ... Then I try to pair again and plug after again the batteries. Then after a while without asking or showing the 6 digits of pairing the sensor was there! I immediately update the firmaware version to 1.4 , mine was still the 1;1;1 before that! It seems now to work as before!
I don't know if it helps!
Regards, JFB

I have the same issue. I can connect the device with bluetooth but it immediately loses the connection even tough my iphone is right next to the Aranet. All devices and the app have the newest versions installed.

Fwiw.
I contacted aranet support. Issue was swiftly fixed. I think my issue was that the devices had been paired to mobile device. Complete reset and all good
