Discrepancy in readings between units?

Hello, I purchased two units. I opened the first and changed only the C -> F switch, installed the batteries and set it in my bedroom. I noted the readings were initially quite high but eventually settled lower to a reasonable level, especially after I opened my bedroom door.
I read through the forum and misunderstood that I needed to manually calibrate the units on arrival. The next day, I opened the second unit, placed both in an open window and followed instructions for manual calibration.
Both units were in the same open window for the same amount of time (1 hour). Since then, with tests in multiple rooms, they are showing different CO2 levels (100-200 ppm variations, not terrible but more than I'd expect from a precision instrument) and temperatures (1-2 degrees F, notable but not significant).
Obviously, I now wish that I had at least left one with the factory calibration (especially for comparison), but nothing to do about that now.1) Should we generally expect such variations in readings among units, even in the same room?
2) If not, how to troubleshoot/correct?
Thanks for help!

Hello,
You can't revert sensor to factory calibration. Please try calibrating both sensors manually one mo time and compare their readings when placed side by side. If the difference of the measurements is out of accuracy limits, please contact support@aranet.com.
