For classroom use, how far does the Aranet4 sensor need to be placed from an individual person in an occupied classroom in order to produce accurate CO2 readings?
Also, can it be placed on the classroom floor?
Finally, how long does it take for the measurement reading to be updated, if the conditions in the room change?
Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for the interest paid to Aranet4 CO2 sensor!
Sensor to be placed out of direct breath distance, 1.5...2 m from the person is enough. It is not recommended to place Aranet4 on the floor, because of its design. But if you take some precautions not to damage the sensor, you can place it as you like. But keep in mind, that CO2 gas is heavier than Oxygen and CO2 concentration on the floor level will be higher than on the height of a sitting person. There is also a buzzer signalling when CO2 concentration exceeds the configured limit.
Aranet4 sensor measurement interval can be set to 1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes.
