I have a new Aranet4 and an Android phone.
I downloaded the app, started pairing by pressing "+ pair" and on the phone a very fast screen flashed up, I think it said "do you want to pair the device" but it did not give me a chance to touch anything - it just started trying to pair the device.
However, meanwhile nothing changed on the Aranet screen which is just showing C02, temperature and humidity.
The Aranet4 device screen did not show a pin code. Now the phone is just showing "aranet 4, pairing the device" and it goes forever and nothing changes.
I have tried removing batteries, changing bluetooth to off and on again, deleting the app, restarting the phone, reinstallling the app. Still all I ge

I have exactly the same problem. The popup that's only visible in less than a second, asks: "Do qou want to pair the device" with Accept and Cancel as option (I made a screenrecording to confirm). But quickly after that, the app starts to search. I just switched phone but was able to pair more than 2 weeks ago without any problem with my old phone (Android 11).
Things I (also) tried:
- Resetting Aranet4 (remove battery, switch bluetooth off and on again)
- Removing app
- Restart phone
I am able to pair the Aranet from the settings window though. Then the pin is visible on the Aranet4 screen. But the app won't connect to the device anyway. I know this is not the way pairing should be done, but at least it confirms the Aranet4 allows to pair.
Phone is a Fairphone 4 with Android 11

We are sorry for the inconvenience. The bug was discovered in Aranet4 app version for Android devices. Our developers are working on the solution.

I was finally able to pair the device by quickly pressing the center of my smartphone screen (Galaxy S9) shortly after the pairing attempt started - I could see something flash up (for less than a second) that looked like a green accept button - again, it was just a quick flash, but after restarting pairing several times I was able to hit that area of the screen at the right second and then the 6 digit code flashed up on my Aranet4 sensor. It is now paired.
