Failed uploading firmware

  I have bought a second hand (unused?) aranet4 device. and trying to update it from version v1.1.2 to the latest 1.4.19
  As soon i try to start the update it says update in progress on the device but restarts immediately (red led blink once) without anything updating. On the App it says 'Failed uploading firmware'

  device rev.14

  tried removing batteries for 15mins, turning on/off bluetooth, restarting phone/removing app/re-pairing, but nothing will update the device.
  Also tried to update on a different phone but the same problem happens.

  I wonder if there is a possibility to update to abit older firmware first but there is not any options
  any help?

  How close are you when doing the update? And can you set the bluetooth range to extended atleast while trying to update the Firmware.

  I tried in extended mode and i put my phone right next to it. But it doesnt work.
