How to adjust how often reading is taken if you don't own a smart device?

I do not own a smartphone. I own a Windows 10 PC. I also own an older I-pod touch that I believe is way too old to run your software. (It's OS version is 6.3, I believe?)
I do not need to track the readings on the Aranet4 Home or set an alert buzzer, but I would really like to be able to change the sampling time from once every 5 minutes (which is the default?) to every minute or two so that I can use this as a safety indicator in public places. It doesn't do me a lot of good to have to sit somewhere for five minutes for an updated reading to tell me if it's got good air flow or not. Is there any way that I can change this setting without owning a smart device?
If I had known that the sensor was not displaying CO2 levels in closer to real-time, I think I would not have purchased this. Thank you for your help.

Hello and thank you for your question.
Aranet4 Home configuration could be done only from the application.

Bummer. : (
So, looking at purchasing a cheap device solely for the purpose of using with the Aranet4 Home app, I find one that says
Onn. 7" tablet, 32GB (2022 Model) - Charcoal
- Android 12 (Go edition) operating system
- 7" 1024 x 600 resolution LCD touchscreen
- 2.0 GHz Quad-core processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 32 GB storage with microSD slot for storage expansion
Question - Is the "Go Edition" suitable for running the Aranet4 App? Are there any requirements for the type of processor or anything like that? I don't want to purchase the tablet and then find it doesn't work. Or becomes obsolete in six months if Aranet changes something in the software to require a higher Android version. Thanks.

If your computer has Bluetooth and you don't mind using third-party code and are technically minded you can set the interval using https://github.com/Anrijs/Aranet4-Python this of course will not be officially supported by SAF Tehnika (i.e. they won't help you get this running) but is an alternative nevertheless.
