Is Aranet drop proof?

  Aranet4 is not impact resistant – dropping it on the ground or subjecting it to strong mechanical impact can permanently damage the sensor. The standard Aranet4 warranty doesn't cover accidental damage such as dropping the device.

  I dropped my unit from about 1 metre onto a hard tile floor.  It went from reading 500 ppm to 6000 ppm.

  I recalibrated the unit and while initially the  reading is accurate it drifts upwards very quickly now over a week or so.

  I know I likely damaged the sensor with the drop and wondered if there is a way to get the sensor repaired in North America or have it replaced?
