My Aranet4 often doesn't remember CO2 calibration

My Aranet4 worked well for over a year then I found the CO2 levels were reading around 200 higher than was reasonable. I recalibrated it and the readings came back to seeming accurate, but a few weeks later they seemed to be wrong, either too high or too low. This has gone on for many busy months where I couldn't trust the device and couldn't easily get a clean air sample to calibrate it regularly.
Yesterday the air was very clean outside and I calibrated the device. Soon after it showed 440. Moving the device inside to a well-ventilated position it showed 480. The this morning when I'd expect the level to be ~750 or more, it was 250. A few hours it is 528, but I can't trust it.
How can I get the Aranet4 to return to being reliable and remembering its calibration?

You can do a check by placing the sensor outside (but not in subzero or very humid environment) away from any CO2 sources for a period of time to see if the reading stays close to 400-450 reading. If it does not and fluctuation continues, the sensor needs to be fixed. In this case please fill in returns form in the link below:
