Privacy concerns - Can I use aranet4 withot cloud?

  Hi, I recetly bought device from your competition that didn't let me even finish initialization without connecting to their cloud. It wasn't even able to show currently measuered values on the display without me givit it password to my wifi. What a dystopia. I returned the device and found Aranet4 as possible replacement. But to make sure:

  1. Can I use Aranet4 as a stanalone device for measuring CO2 on the device display without pairing it with any app?

  2. When I do pair it with your app on my smartphone, can I use it without sending data to your cloud?
