Dear Forum,
I have just purchased the PRO version.
Thought I would be able to view the data collected on a monitor(something other than the ARANET4 phone app but now I'm starting to wonder if the pre sales wording was a little misleading and in reality I require a base station to send it to the cloud so that I can observe data on a monitor. An answer to that would be great. I want to observe data without the cloud, that would be my preference.
Is it possible to use an andriod emulator and the Aranet4 dispay app by SAF Tehnika A/S to share the data via bluetooth to another computer/monitor?
Please share how I can do this. How else am I going to be able to share with peope the real time CO2 readings?
Thanks, cool breezes

Dear Diymasks,
Thanks for reaching out to us. There are several options to display Aranet4 CO2 readings on screens.
1) Aranet4 Display app: https://aranet.com/products/app/
2) Sharing Aranet4 data on TV:
- https://forum.aranet.com/all-about-aranet4/how-to-display-aranet4-application-data-in-fullscreen-mode-from-android-devices-to-smart-tv/
3) Aranet Cloud Public CO2 monitor: https://forum.aranet.com/aranet-cloud/how-to-share-co2-measurements-data-with-public/
Only this method requires Aranet4 PRO sensor, previous ones are valid both for PRO and HOME sensors,
Thanks! Best Regards.

Hi Aranet Tech Support,
Your more than welcome, delighted to finally have an Aranet4 PRO sensor in my control. Thanks for listing the numerous ways.
1) The Aranet4 Display. Designed to function on iPhone iPad and iTouch running iOS 8.0 or later and Mac running macOS 11 or later.
1a) Tested with iphone iOS 15.5 and it works great.
1b) Not compatible with the iPad mini 1 running iOS 9.35. The Aranet4 Display promotion literature clearly states iOS 9.0 or later.
Why has this not been designed to function with all iPads? The iPad 1 is a very low cost display option and can be left in unsupervised places without too much concern. What iPads have you tested the app with?
1c) Could not install the Aranet4 Display onto my mac for geographical reasons. Can this geographical glitch be fixed? I'm running a 10.13.6 mac so chances are it will not run even if the app was available to my country. Why start/stop at mac OS11?
So far the Aranet4 Display has not been the "easiest way to show" data. I've only managed to get it operating on an iphone(which is not going to be constantly displayed to others). The Aranet4 Displays connectivity should not be so restricted. I'm looking forward to your response regarding this app and to see what solutions you offer me.
2) I don't have a apple/smart TV. I will test this when I come across one.
3) Cloud option not my preference and it requires me to purchase a sensor.
My options so far are buy a sensor with a public monitors service licence and cloud subscription, an apple/smart TV, a newer mac running macOS 11 or later or buy a newer iPad running iOS 8.0(awaiting confirmation).
Basic bluetooth display option is what I want to get operational. Something I have failed to acheive thus far hence my original post in this forum requesting help and enquirung about emulators.
There must be a boat load of people in my shoes worldwide with an incredibly accurate sensor in their hands and no real convenient way to share the data.
I'm preplexed.

Hi,
Answering your questions:
1b) Aranet4 display is designed to run on 64-bit devices. iPad Mini One has 32-bit processor.
1c) Aranet4 Display is app for mobile devices, it is not intended for use on Mac.
To display Aranet4 sensor data on Mac you can use third-party solutions like https://pypi.org/project/pyaranet4/1.0.0b2/

Really?
Why do you have to state "answering your questions" especially if your not going to answer the important ones. I have just shelved out 1/4 of a thousand for your device and I have a genuine desire to get the data onto a bigger screen. Can this geographical glitch be fixed? Can you get permissions changed for the Irish store? What other stores is this app not available in? Should this not be listed somewhere?
In fairness to me no reference is made to 64-bit being required and the Aranet4 Display clearly says Mac and lists operating system. Regardless of intentions, it is designed to work on Mac, is it not?
Why only 64 bit?
