I have used my Aranet4 during flights across time zones.
If my smart phone has been synchronized to my destination's time zone when I download data for e-mail, will all the time stamps in the csv file be the destination time (including ones taken at start of flight)?

Hello,
Aranet4 has not the internal clock, but only a timer. The timestamps are calculated from the phone time setting during data transferring from the sensor to the phone. So, the timestamps will correspond to the time and time zone configured on phone at the moment of transferring.

This makes interpreting data from a multi-time-zone trip... complicated. Basically impossible if the user didn't record what timezone they were in each time they sync'd the device.
Maybe the app could be updated to record the current timezone / utc-offset and store that in a new column? I would also be happy with replacing the current time column with something unambiguous like unix epoch time, but I imagine that'd be more disruptive than adding a new column.

When my phone recognizes a new time zone, the graph displays in the app do in fact change to follow the phone's currently recognized time zone. I have followed my Aranet4 on several flights and when I turn off airplane mode at the destination, the time axis changeswith the next look. During flight, I peak at the app a lot using just bluetooth with other antennae off. These are graphed on origin time.
When I email myself a .csv file, I put the flight route in my subject line, or location if it was a building, etc. Even weeks later, I can keep it straight.
