Aranet4 is compatible with most mobile devices.
Your mobile phone must have either Android 6.0 or newer or iOS 11.0 or newer (for iPhone) in order for you to be able to download the app.viper

Hello,
I tried accessing my Aranet4 through the app yesterday, however it looked like it wasn't registered anymore in the app (which i downloaded a few months ago). I followed some guidelines that i found on this forum, and one of the actions to take was to deinstall and reinstall the app. Deinstalling the app worked fine, however when i try to install the app from the Play Store it says "your device is not compatible".
I assume you published a new version of the app, which doesn't support phones that are several years old? I have a Samsung S6 with Android 7.0, so according to above mentioned requirements i should be fine.

Hello viper,
Android 7.0 is not supported by Google anymore. The new Aanet4 app is designed for modern Android versions.
Anyway, currently we are working on a solution for running Aranet4 app on older devices. Please be patient, information will follow.

That would be great! Thanks for your quick reply, i'm looking forward to a possible solution (besides buying a new phone).

The original question remains unanswered: "Which smart devices is the Aranet4 compatible with?"
I just received my Aranet4, but cannot load the app.
I don't understand how you don't have a compatibility listing for your app. I have a OnePlus 3 with Android version 9, but can't download the app as "Your device isn't compatible with this version"
I downloaded the app to my chromebook, but it won't pair: "Failed to read from device! Please ensure that the device pairing information is valid, device is in range and no one else is using the device at this time"
"Anyway, currently we are working on a solution for running Aranet4 app on older devices. Please be patient, information will follow."
Without the app I can't see any logging info, update firmware or make any changes to the device.
I managed to load the Display app, it finds my device via bluetooth but only displays 500 ppm no matter what the actual display is.
I am very frustrated at the moment.

Aranet4 HOME is a stand-alone device that can be paired to its native application - Aranet4 app. In turn, Aranet4 app version is designed to be used on mobile devices running currently supported iOS and Android versions.
As you can check, Android 9.0 is not supported by its developer anymore. Nevertheless, we are working on solutions for outdated devices. Namely, Aranet4 app should be available for installation on OnePlus 3 phone, as well as some other models running Android 9.0, since that day. Please check.

I downloaded the "MAK IT" app from the app store to my OnePlus 3 and it is working so far.
Please keep in mind, MAK IT Aranet4 app is beta-version and is not free of bugs.

Any news on running the Aranet4 app on older Android devices? According to the Google Play Store, the Aranet4 app only needs Android 6 but on my OnePlus X, which runs Android 6.0.1, I cannot install the app.

We are sorry, older Android versions support is not planned.
App requirements info in the PlayStore will be corrected.

Ok, back in January you posted the following:
Our developers are working on the solution for older OS.
and
Nevertheless, we are working on solutions for outdated devices.
There are very likely quite a few people in a similar situation with older but still perfectly fine Android devices. My OnePlus X may be outdated but it still works fine with, for example, WhatsApp and other apps. Your own Aranet4 Display App works fine so it seems this is not a hardware issue.
May I ask what happened/changed since January?
If the Aranet4 Display App works on older Android devices, why can't the Aranet4 App work on those same devices?viper

I have the same questions as chickenman. I was only able to enjoy the app for 4 months (i bought the Aranet4 August last year). And that for a device that costs over 200 euros...
If Google stopped supporting older devices, can't you just let us download the working app from your website?
