I've had the Aranet4 for a few months. The factory settings gave outdoor reading average of over 500. I live in a semi-rural area. So, I did a manual recalibration and the outdoor reading was 412. I checked on the CO2 monitoring web map which says my location is 426 should be 426. I did waited a week and tried again ant got 406. Surely 406 is too low to be accurate (also 412)? Any advice? Thank you.

Hi.
As with any sensor, the aranet Co2 sensor is not perfect and the shown number is no the true value of the Co2 concentration. Check the datasheet for the sensors accuracy:

As you can see in the datasheet, the true value is somewhere in the "shown value" +/- 30ppm. Your values are in range of the expected Co2 conecntration and are appropriate.
Also teh Co2 concentration varies during the day, depending on traffic and other Co2 emitters around your area.
