Expected lifespan for CO2 NDIR sensor?

Please, what is the life expectancy of the NDIR CO2 sensor in the Aranet? Is it similar to the 2-year battery life expectancy? If I opened up the device and found the NDIR CO2 sensor, would it have a sensor expiry date label? Or, do I just know my Aranet device's CO2 sensor is "finished" when I can no longer successfully calibrate it as per instructions for use? If the HOME device is constantly active, does the manufacturer expect that to occur after 2 years / 24 months of use? Thank you for your help.

No, it is not related to the lifespan of the battery. The NDIR element has a expected lifespan of around 15 years.
