History Issues

I have an Aranet 4 firmware v1.3.5
Phone Galaxy 22 on Android 13
The 7 day history showed 3 days of history and several days from over 2 weeks ago.
I came here to investigate and found posts to resinstall the app. I did that. Now I have 3 days history total.
I am curious if chaging the measurement interval affects the history? And why aren't more days stored in the app?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,
The historic data stored by Aranet4 depends on the measurment interval.
More on this :https://forum.aranet.com/all-about-aranet4/how-long-does-the-aranet4-device-store-historic-data/
Historic data on the app (as of version 3.4.1) can store data up to 90 days, but to make sure that it does so without any holes in the data you should check if:- In the app "Background data read" is set to ON
- Your phone allows the app to operate in the background
- Your phone is regularly (7 or 3.5 days depending on the measurment interval) in close proximity to the device so that Aranet4 can synchronize the data with the app.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply - I didn't know about "background data read" in the app. I have adjusted the other permissions in the android menu as well now.
I definitely have it near the aranet most of the time.
I will add more after testing it for a week or two with the settings adjusted.
I often toggle the measurement interval, depending on the setting, so I was hopeful that wasn't causing a glitch. Sounds like it probably does not (and it didn't in the past).

Hi, the closest I can guess is that you were suggesting to have the aranet app not "optimzed" in battery settings - to run "unrestricted."
As much as I have needed to check hx this has continued to work now. Thanks for the help.
I am having a new issue related to display on the sensor not matching display in the app and when that is happening there is no history taken. and I will start a new topic.
