I recently discovered the phone app stores 2 weeks of data. My android phone calendar is set to remind me to download the data every week so I don't lose any data. I initially just save the files on my desktop computer until I get around to copying the weekly data into a formatted xls file that goes back to when I first installed the monitor.
Yesterday I opened the weekly csv files from the last couple of months and discovered several were incomplete. I'm guessing this happened because I tapped the share link before the app was able to connect to the monitor (re: circle still spinning on graph). My bad. However, in those cases, the app downloaded 2 weeks of data, apparently ending with the most recent connection to the monitor. I cannot replicate that behavior, which rasies the question: under what circumstances can 2 weeks of data be downloaed?
Based on my limited testing, it appears that the 2nd previous week is cleared when the device connects AND the data is downloaded in the same session. If that's the case, could I download every 2 weeks and not lose any data as long as I open the app and connect at least weekly?

Hello,
Aranet4 sensor can keep up to 7 days measurements history in its memory: https://forum.aranet.com/all-about-aranet4/how-long-does-the-aranet4-device-store-historic-data/
Aranet4 app can keep up to 30 days measurements history in the phone's memory.
When new data are uploaded from the sensor to the app, it checks for the presence of measurements older than 30 days in the phone's memory. If such measurements are found, they are deleted.
So, you can download data every 30 days and lose nothing if you do the downloads at the same time.

So to clarify, if you pair the sensor and the app at least once a week then you can export two weeks' worth of data in one go. However, if you only pair the app and the sensor once every two weeks, you will only be able share the previous 7 days?
Is this right?

You can download from the sensor to the app max 7-days history. Then from the app, you can share collected in the app 30-days history.
